Our team performed an analysis of the customer's needs and its production process.

Proposed solution

Based on the customer's requirement, we designed a complete modernization of the rotary table, both its mechanical parts, hydraulics and electrical components.

During the modernization, among other things, all guideways were re-grinded and scraped, a new servo motor and a planetary gearbox were installed for the rotary axis drives, a pinion and rack system was left for linear feed. To define the clearances, the drive of the rotary axis was solved by a split preloaded pinion.

All units for hydraulics and lubrication and the electrical switchboard with manual control panel were integrated directly on the table. To get the machine up and running, you only needed to connect to the power supply.

Installation

We took care of installing the table to one of the machines planned for the use of the table, tested its functions and accuracy, and trained the machine operator.

Thanks to our solution, the customer has expanded the production capabilities of existing legacy machines from its portfolio and simplified the production process by enabling multiple operations to be carried out at one site.

The equipment worked to the complete satisfaction of the customer.
